Vh1 Hip Hop Honors Celebrating 25 Of Def Jam!

The 2009 Hip Hop Honors was one to remember, the theme this year was the 25th anniversary of Def Jam Records. The event brought out names that we haven't seen in a while. Artists like Ja Rule, Foxy Brown, Ghostface Killah, Eminem, Warren G, DMX, Method Man, Fabolous, Trey Songz all performed at the show. Also word is DMX & Ja Rule broke off their long time beef, which is good to hear, but him and Em still have their differences after the long lived Interscope/Murder Inc drama. On another note a lot of people were surprised Jay-Z was a no show. He apparently was overseas in Paris so he couldn't make the show, I wonder if the no show also had to do with his leaving as president of Def Jam to start his own record company Roc Nation.
